• Did you know that some dry cleaners will store your winter coat for you? Often this service is free or available for a very nominal cost. Call your local dry cleaner to find out if this is available; if you have several family members, this can save you a lot of room in your coat closet!
• Do you keep your mittens, gloves, hats and scarves in bins? Consider just covering them (or dumping the clean and dry items into a bin with a cover) and sticking them on a high closet shelf. They’ll be ready for next year.
• While you have everything out anyway, it’s a great time to have custom closets installed! Installation requires you to remove everything from your closet, so if you’re considering it, you could kill two birds with one stone, metaphorically speaking!
